Naging guest ang CNN anchor at TV host na si Anderson Cooper sa Late Show with David Letterman.

Ikinuwento ni Cooper kay Letterman ang kanyang experience sa pag-cover ng matinding pinsala na iniwan ng Typhoon Yolanda sa Tacloban City, Leyte.

Witness ang CNN reporter sa devastation na naganap sa Tacloban at isa nga ito sa pinakanakaka-depress na nasaksihan niyang kalagayan ng tao at ang pagiging mabagal na kilos ng ating gobyerno sa kaganapan na ito.

“It was among the worst I’ve seen, just the chaos on the ground.

“Look, the Philippines is an amazing country, it’s a poor country, in a lot of the areas where the storm hit obviously the government is not set up to provide relief in this kind of way.

“It was upsetting to the people there who were searching for their children not to have any assistance,” salaysay pa ni Cooper.

     Proud ngang sinabi ni Cooper na siya ang nakapunta sa Tacloban City sa Leyte. Blessing in disguise raw na nasaksihan niya ito lahat at naipakita niya ito sa buong mundo na ngayon ay nagpapadala na ng maraming financial aid sa Pilipinas.

“I honestly think it’s an honor to be there and to be able to give voice to people who don’t have a voice,” sabi ng American journalist.

Chanda Romero first time ikinasal

Tahimik palang ikinasal noong nakaraang Oct. 25 via civil rites ang veteran and award-winning actress na si Chanda Romero sa kanyang boyfriend of seven years na si Jose Mari “Mayi” Alejandro.

Say nga ng newlywed na si Chanda: “It was some sort of a surprise gift to my mom on her eightieth birthday.

“We worked on our papers quietly and asked our friend, Cebu Mayor Mike Rama, to officiate it.

“So last October 25, we asked our immediate family to be at Casino Español de Cebu an hour earlier. Mass and mom’s birthday dinner was to be held at six o’clock. So we could squeeze in our civil rites.

“What a wondrous night that was!”

Ito nga ang unang pagkakataon na ikasal ang award-winning actress.

Noong nakaraang May 17 naman, they made their vows in a commitment ceremony sa Tierra de Maria Chapel in Tagaytay.

Aaron Carter bangkarote na

Nag-file na for bankruptcy ang singer na si Aa­ron Carter pagkatapos ng kanyang patung-patong na utang na hindi na niya nababayaran.

Na-obtain ng TMZ ang ilang legal do­cu­ments ng mga pagkakautang ni Carter.

Nakatira ngayon si Aaron sa isang family member.

Ayon sa representative ni Carter na si Steve Honig, ang pag-file ng bankruptcy ng singer ay para makapagsimula ito muli.

Nagsimula bilang singer si Aaron Carter ng seven years old noong 1997. Kapatid niya si Nick Carter ng Backstreet Boys. Pinasikat ni Aaron ang pop songs na I Want Candy and Crush On You.

Lumabas siya sa ilang shows ng Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. Nai-date rin niya ang mga teen actress na sina Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan.

     Noong 2006 ay naging hit ang rea­lity show nilang magkakapatid na House of Carter.
