Of Direk Joyce, she is the director of the soon-to-be-released Kim Chiu-Xian Lim-starrer Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?
One who describes herself na young at heart, kinilig daw siya nang pinanood niya ang pelikula. Bagay na bagay kasi sa isa’t isa sina Kim at Xian bukod pa sa both delivered as well.
Bagama’t she, too, daw thinks na wala pa ngang something serious between the two, she hopes daw in time they will be more than just the love team sa showbiz that they claim to be. The way she looks at it daw kasi, the two are ideal for each other.
‘‘They are both good kids,’’ sabi pa ni Bb. Joyce. ‘‘Sana nga it will not be long at panain na ni Kupido ang puso ng bawat isa sa kanila.’’
Bakit Hindi Ka… also stars Pokwang, Tonton Gutierrez, and Kean Cipriano.
Bimby may bagong director na
The producers behind the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry Torky and My Little Bossing have finally found a replacement for Direk Joyce Bernal who earlier was eyed para mamahala nito. But Direk Joyce had to begged off as the MMFF has a ruling not to allow a director to have more than one entry.
Eh nasimulan na niya, ayon kay Direk Joyce, na mag-shooting for 10,000 Hours starring Robin Padilla.
The movie produced by Philippine Film Studio, Inc. is also an entry this year.
But she would have loved to direct Torky…, she told producers Kris Aquino, Vic Sotto, and Tony Tuviera. After all, the film not only stars Vic and Kris, but child stars Bimby Yap and Ryzza Mae Dizon as well.
In any case, tapped to direct Torky… is Marlon Rivera, who directed the blockbuster and award-winning movie Ang Babae sa Septic Tank starring Eugene Domingo.
It was Kris who suggested Direk Marlon to replace Direk Joyce and Vic and Mr. Tuviera immediately agreed.
Si Direk Marlon ang director ngaÂyon ni Rufa Mae Quinto sa relaunching moÂvie nitong Ang Huling Henya.
Diana balik sa pagpapatawa
This Saturday, guess who is doing a guest role in the comedy-romance series Toda Max? Diana Zubiri, a mainstay for sometime in Bubble Gang on GMA 7.
The show of Vhong Navarro, Pokwang, and Angel Locsin, according to Diana, proved tuloy na puwede rin pala siyang gumanap ng comedy. Ang wish niya is to do more comic roles.
Now back to being a contract talent of ABS-CBN, after her stint as a Kapuso, Diana is currently appearing in the fantasy series Juan dela Cruz.
Her next assignment is the drama series Bukas na Lang Kita Mamahalin.
