Jessica Sanchez ‘di napilit tumiKiM ng droga!

Na-release na nga ang debut album ng American Idol Season 11 runner-up na si Jessica Sanchez noong nakaraang April 30.

Ang kanyang album na may titulong Me, You, & the Music ay hindi lang puro ballads ang nilalaman kundi iba’t ibang klase ng mga music na magugustuhan ng mga kabataan ngayon.

 â€œPeople don’t know me as the Jessica that I want to show. They know me as balladeer Jessica, which is shy, sweet, just like standing-there Jessica.

 â€œAnd now I have to really make a mark and show people that I have fun and I’m 17 and I’m ready to be out there and just, you know, be young.

“Music, it just runs in my blood and I love music. So I’m trying to bring the tone of my voice and trying to mix it with the genre, the generation of music now.

“So that you get the feel of the real voice, the real grittiness that you got back in the day, and bring it to the pop-club mix,” sey ng Pinay-Mexican singer.

Kabilang sa mga songs ni Jessica sa album ay ang isang song na sinulat sa kanya ng R&B singer na si Ne-Yo. Nagkasama sila ni Ne-Yo noong mag-perform sila sa isa sa elimination episode ng American Idol Season 12.

Inamin ni Jessica na sobra niyang na-miss ang AI stage.

 â€œSeeing the stage, it was like my second home, and it’s like I’ve been away from home for so long. That’s where I experienced everything — the stress, the love, the tears, everything with the other nine people that I spent the year with.

 â€œAnd it all came back to me and it hit me and I was like, ‘I don’t want to be here right now!’ I was like tearing up and everything, but it was so much fun, and it was a big difference going onstage and performing with Ne-Yo.”

Lumaki si Jessica sa isang Pinoy household kaya sa natatamo niya ngayong suwerte sa kanyang career, hindi bothered ang kanyang pamilya na mapapariwara ito tulad sa paggamit ng drugs at mapasama sa hindi mga matitinong kabataan.

 â€œI’ve had bad influences. I’ve had friends that backstabbed me. I’ve had no friends at all at certain times. I mean, I’ve been offered substances of drugs and I just told myself it’s not worth it because in the future I have so many bright things ahead of me. ... I’ve always said ‘no’ and I’ve always stuck my mind to family, school, music and just what I love and what’s positive.”

Pinakita na nga ang isang eksena ni Jessica sa Glee noong nakaraang May 3. Ipinakita nang bumibirit siya as Frida Romero na kinabahala ng glee club director na si Will Shuester (played by Matthew Morrison).

Mas marami ngang magiging eksena si Jessica sa season finale episode ng Glee kung saan makikilala na niya ang mga members ng New Directors sa isang malaking regional battle ng mga glee clubs sa America.

Tambalang Julie Anne at Elmo, nawawala na?

Excited and at the same time ay kinakabahan si Julie Anne San Jose para sa kanyang first solo concert na gaganapin sa Music Museum on May 11 titled It’s My Time.

Birthday concert din ito ni Julie Anne dahil on May 17, she will be turning 19-years old kaya very personal daw ang gagawin niyang concert para sa kanyang mga fans.

“Matagal din po ang preparations ko para sa concert na ito.”

Kabilang sa mga special guests niya ay sina Frencheska Farr, Abra at ang ka-love team niyang si Elmo Magalona.

Matagal din ngang hindi napanood si Julie Anne sa mga teleserye ng Kapuso network. Huli nga siyang napanood ay sa Together Forever kung saan nagtambal sila ni Elmo Magalona.

Kahit sa movies ay tumigil din muna si Julie Anne. Hindi na nasundan ang team-up movie nila ni Elmo na Just One Summer.

Marami ang nakapansin na biglang nawala ang JuliElmo love team, lalo na noong hindi masyadong kumita ang first team-up movie nila at nang ma-link si Elmo kay Lauren Young.

Huli silang napanood ay sa TV series na Together Forever.

 â€œNandiyan pa rin naman po ang JuliElmo,” mabilis na sagot ni Julie Anne.

Ang musical director ng It’s My Time ay si Marc Lopez and concert director naman si Rico Gutierrez.
