P-Noy at John Prats magka-level sa tipo ng babae
Wow, Salve A., would you believe na magkapareha pala ang taste nina John Prats at President Noynoy Aquino?
After all, ’di ba balita na ang natitipuhang babae ngayon ni P-Noy ay ang ex-girlfriend ni John na si Bianca Manalo, former Bb. Pilipinas-Universe?
Well, dini-deny, of course, ni Bianca na nililigawan siya ni P-Noy. Not yet. Although inamin niyang, at one time, she had dinner with the President. Kasama raw niya noon ang isa niyang kapatid.
Since her breakup with John of last year ay na-link lang, but only for a while, sa isang ramp and commercial model si Bianca.
Come to think of it, ba’t kaya ’di as busy si Bianca tulad noong nakalipas na taon?
Of John, actually, ’di lang si Bianca sa naging ex ni John ang ngayo’y nali-link sa isang politician. A few years back, noong pareho pa silang teenager ni Heart Evangelista and she was still a Kapamilya, napabalitang nagkaroon din sila ng ‘‘something.’’
This was never developed, though, into a full-blown romance, dahil sinentro nilang dalawa ang kanilang atenÂsiyon sa noo’y budding showbiz career nila.
Today, we all know, too, na si Heart ang napapabalitang ‘‘one and only’’ ni Sen. Chiz Escudero who is running din for reelection for the same position.
John naman is said to be in love with Isabel Oli, whose one ex-boyfriend ay si Marco Alcaraz, now married to former Miss International Lara Precious Quigaman.
Marco and Lara are now parents to a baby boy named Noah.
Rep. Jack tututok sa pagkain
First time naming nakausap ng face to face si Cagayan Congressman Jack Enrile who is now running for a seat sa Senado.
Rep. Jack’s most notable credential is his being the son of Senator Juan Ponce Enrile. And to this the fact that he has a good friend in Sen. Jinggoy Estrada who organized a presscon for him with the entertainment press in attendance.
And what was our impression of the younger Enrile?
Well, we discovered, he is honest to a point. For example, he was honest enough to tell the entertainment media that he didn’t so much like his father, who, noong bata pa siya, appeared not to have time for him and his younger sister Katrina.
For years he lived in California with his family. He confessed being more of a businessman than a politician.
It was his father who convinced him to join politics when he came home in 1994. To please him, he ran in 1998 and won naman as representative sa first district ng Cagayan na landslide pa.
Congressman Enrile’s efforts to focus on the grassroot level, where he was able to put to good use his advocacy for agriculture and food sovereignty, must have impressed his constituents kaya the Cagayan people elected him ng three full terms.
In his bid to became a senator this time, his biggest target is to improve our agricultural system as this is the only way, he said, that food production can reign supreme.
‘‘Para sa akin walang Pilipinong dapat magutom sa sariling bayan. Dapat ang presyo ng pagkain ay abot-kaya ng lahat. Ito ang dapat gawin ng ating gobyerno at maging ng private sector din,†sabi ng 55-year-old candidate.
Married to Sally Santiago, now a congresswoÂman of the first district of Cagayan, may four grandchildren na sila ni Rep. Jack.
This makes his Daddy Juan Ponce Enrile a grandfather at age 89.
