Kumusta na nga kaya si Mother Lily Monteverde dahil she is at sea ’di ba? She’s currently on a cruise to Australia and New Zealand with eldest daughter Meme and Mother’s son-in-law Stephen Tan.
In a week’s time pa bago makabalik ng Pilipinas si Mother Lily.
It’s expected daw to make a box-office history sa filmfest event. Not only because it’s the only suspense-horror movie na ipapalabas, kung hindi, sabi nga it served its purpose na manakot ng manonood nito during the holiday season.
Three episodes ang SSR Fourteen, The Invasion. Kaya nga may sari-sarili itong title: Pamana, Unwanted, and Lost Command.
First time niyang maidirek sina Herbert Bautista at Arlene Muhlach who headlined, along with Janice de Belen, the three original Shake Rattle and Roll.
Si Janice was in The Healing, the first horror-suspense flick na tinampukan ng Batangas governor na si Vilma Santos.
Well, curious si Direk Chito how Quezon City Mayor Herbert would perform his role considering nga naman na lately hindi na nga siya napapanood sa pelikula o TV.
Happy siya that Mayor Herbert delivered.
O take a bow, Arlene.
Unwanted marks the first time na magtatambal sa isang project sina Vhong Navarro at Lovi Poe.
The two of them play victims ng isang tragedy inside a mall.
Sobra raw ang rapport ng dalawa, so much so, he is convinced the two should team up in a full-length movie na ’di horror-suspense, of course. Willing siyang idirek ang dalawa if ever.
Lost Command has an all-male cast: Dennis Trillo, Paulo Avelino, Martin Escudero, at Rommel Padilla. They play military men who are assigned to battle with zombies.
The battle turns out to be grueling for both groups.
‘‘As a whole,’’ pahayag pa ni Direk Chito, ‘‘entertaining ang movie, while at the same time matatakot ka. I guess magiging happy si Mother kapag napanood niya ang movie.’’
Daniel sinasabayan ng kanyang Daddy Rommel
How nice na kasabay nang pagsikat ng kanyang anak na si Daniel Padilla (Mother: Karla Estrada), now dubbed as the current teenage heartthrob, ay ang pagbabalik-pelikula naman ni Rommel Padilla.
Rommel is an elder brother of Robin Padilla, who feels equally proud of Daniel for the achievements he has attained, so far, sa maikling panahong nasa showbiz ito.
Like Rommel, Robin also advises Daniel to keep his feet on the ground, no matter how successful he becomes.
Daniel is currently starring in the still ipinalalabas pang blockbuster movie ng Star Cinema, 24/7 In Love, where he is paired with Kathryn Bernardo and 13 others fellow Star Magic talent.
He and Kathryn also topbill the high-rating series, Princess and I.
Rommel, for his comeback appearance, was featured in the series, Lorenzo’s Time, which topbilled Zaijian Jaranilla in the title role.
The series also starred Carmina Villarroel, formerly Rommel’s sister-in-law because she was then married to his brother Rustom now popularly known as BB Gandanghari.
Shake, Rattle, and Roll: Fourteen is his comeback movie.
