Binalikan ng TNT ang Barangay Ginebra sa Game Six, 87-83, para itabla sa 3-3 ang kanilang Season 49 Commissio­ner’s Cup championship series kahapon sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Nagtabla sa kanilang best-of-seven showdown, pag-aagawan ng Tropang Giga at Gin Kings ang korona bukas sa isang ‘winner-take-all’ match.

“I said let’s just grab this opportunity,” ani coach Chot Reyes. “Go out there play hard. If we lose, we lose but at least we’re not going to go down without a fight. Credit to the guys, they just gave it all.”

Huling nakalapit ang Ginebra sa 83-85 galing sa three-point shot ni Thompson sa huling 10.5 segundo

Personal na pinanood ni veteran guard Jayson Castro ang Tropang Giga sa Big Dome bagama’t nasa isang 12-month recovery period matapos ang surgery sa kanyang kanang tuhod.
