MANILA, Philippines — Hindi lamang ang mga players ang nagtaas sa kartada ng nagdedepensang Creamline sa 2024-25 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.
Sinabi ni team captain Alyssa Valdez na malaki rin ang papel ni coach Sherwin Meneses at ng kanyang coaching staff sa limang sunod na arangkada ng Cool Smashers.
“I would say it’s really the mind of our coaches. The strategy, the technical side na ginagawa nila. Hindi man namin totally nakikita or naiintindihan ‘yun, but I think it’s the trust we have sa coaches namin,” ani Valdez.
“Sa kahit anong sitwasyon na ginagawa nila and nilalagay nila sa court ‘yun ‘yung paniniwalaan namin that’s why it’s been working,” dagdag pa ng 31-anyos na star spiker.
Huling tinalo ng Creamline ang Capital1 Solar Energy para sa kanilang unang panalo sa taong 2025.
Bukod kay Valdez, nakabalik na rin sa kanyang pamatay na porma si outside hitter Tots Carlos matapos ang injury noong nakaraang taon.
“In these crucial times talaga most definitely long tournament, we just have to believe in the system and our coaches and syempre hard work ng mga teammates,” wika ni Valdez.
Target ng Cool Smashers ang kanilang ika-11 PVL championship.
“I think it’s a good, good sense of family and teamwork ‘yung nangyayari most especially this conference kasi ‘yung paikot talaga ni coach Sherwin knowing na kung ano ‘yung mas makakatulong at mas effective na strategy in that specific game,” dagdag ng tubong San Juan, Batangas.
