Labing unang UV Alumni Fun Run nagmalampuson

CEBU, Philippines —  Dul-an sa 2,000 ka mga partisipante ang milugwa alang sa labing unang University of the Visayas Alumni Association, Inc. (UVAAI) Fun Run 2023 niadtong weekend nga nagsugod ug nahuman sa UV-Main campus sa makaysayanong dalan sa Colon, dakbayan sa Sugbo.

Gawas sa ganting salapi alang sa mga mananaog sa 3K ug 5K categories, maanindot sab nga mga premyo ang gipanghatag sa rafle draw samtang ang uban mipauli bitbit ang daghang mga pahalipay gikan sa nagkadaiyang sponsors. Alang ni UVAAI President Engr. Rizalito Casinillo, ang malampuson nga kalihukan nagtimaan nga ang tanan posible uban ang suporta ug kooperasyon sa tanang mga hintungdan.

"I personally am so happy and fulfilled while running on the most famous and the oldest street in the Philippines, known as Colon street, and Parian street. Running together with my family while having fun and good bonding was such a one of a kind experience. Also, seeing the old faces of the alumni together with their families elated me and the thousand of students who were enjoying the run makes my heart so happy," matud pa ni Casinillo.

"To my fellow UV alumni and to our university officers headed by no other than our active and very supportive school president and CEO in the person of Dr. Conrado E. Inigo Jr., to the organizers and sponsors, the success of our fun run was a clear result of team's effort and collaboration.

Ang UV Fun Run nahimong mabulokon ug mas mahinungdanon tungod kay ang kita gikan niini itabang man sa mga kabus apan angayan nga mga iskolar sa UVAAI.

"Grateful kaayo mi sa tanan nga niapil,sa mga sponsors, ug labi na gyud sa UV ug sa UV Alumni Association officers. Dako kaayo ni og mahimong tabang ang proceeds sa run sa atong mga scholars," padayag pa ni UVAAI treasurer Atty. Darling Chyrmyth Wagas-Estorgio, nga mao sab ang associate dean sa Gullas Law School.
