MANILA, Philippines — Hinataw ng California Precision Sports (CPS) ang ikalawang sunod na panalo matapos gibain ang Santa Rosa City (SRC),  25-10, 25-19, sa girls’ Pool C ng Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) Under-18 Championships kahapon sa Rizal Memorial Sports Coliseum.

Sinandigan ng Antipolo City-based na CPS si team captain at setter Kizzie Madriaga para sa kanilang 2-0 record sa torneong binuhay ni PNVF president Ramon “Tats” Suzara at suportado ng Philippine Olympic Committee at Phi-lippine Sports Commission.

“She is by far the most important piece in our offense,” ani CPS coach Dr. Obet Estrella Vital kay Madriaga na pinuri rin sina Casiey Monique Dongallo (outside hitter) at Jenalyn Umayam (middle hitter).

Tinalo naman ng Bethel Academy ang Ateneo de Manila University, 25-14, 25-11, sa isa pang laban sa girls’ Pool D match.

Samantala sa laro no­ong Biyernes ay pinadapa ng Volida Volleyball Club ang Hiraya, 25-22, 25-14, sa girls’ Pool D habang binigo ng Justice CM Palma High School ang Team Makati, 23-25, 25-13, 25-22, sa boys’ Pool A.

Sa iba pang boys’ results, tinakasan ng Nagcarlan Laguna ang Queen Anne School (Quezon ang Philippine Christian University, 25-16, 25-12, sa Pool B.
