5 ginto sweep ni Dula; Mojdeh naka-4 na

ILAGAN CITY, Isabela  , Philippines  —  Matapos magbulsa ng isa noong Martes ay apat na gintong medalya naman ang nilangoy ni Mark Bryan Dula para walisin ang mga sinalihang events sa swimming competition ng Luzon leg ng 2019 PSC-Batang Pinoy kahapon dito sa Isabela Sports Complex.

Winalis ni Dula ang limang gold medal sa boys’ 12-under 100m butterfly (1:08.82), 100m backstroke (1:14.17), 200m backstroke (2:44.46), 50m butterfly (30.77) at 50m backstroke (33.46).

“Very happy po kasi first time ko lang po sumali rito sa Batang Pinoy,” sabi ng 12-anyos na Grade 6 student ng Masville Elementary School-Parañaque at ang PSL Male Swimmer of the Year. “Sa coming Palarong Pambansa five events din po ako.”

Nakatakdang sumabak si Dula sa 2019 Thanyapura International Swimming Championship sa Marso 27-Abril 2 sa Phuket, Thailand at sa 2019 Hong Kong Stingrays Swimming Championship sa Mayo 8-14 sa Hong Kong.

Ipinagpatuloy naman ni national record holder Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh ng Parañaque ang kanyang pananalasa matapos magsumite ng 30.44 segundo at 1:06.30 para kunin ang kanyang ikatlo at ikaapat na gold medal sa girls’ 13-15 50-meter butterfly at 100m butterfly, ayon sa pagkakasunod.

“Sana po manalo ako sa last event (200m butterfly) ko,” sabi ng 12-anyos na PSL Female of the Year awardee na sinikwat ang dalawang ginto sa 200m individual medley (2:34.91) at sa 400m individual medley (5:25.11) noong Martes.
