Dula, Evangelista nanguna sa MOS awardees
MANILA, Philippines — Pinangunahan nina record-breakers Marc Bryan Dula at Aishel Cid Evangelista ang mga Most Outstanding Swimmer awardees sa 152nd Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series–ABC Swim Challenge na ginanap sa Vermosa Sports Hub sa Imus, Cavite.
Parehong umani ng limang gintong medalya ang Masville Elementary School standout na si Dula (boys’ 11-year) at Betta Caloocan Swimming Team tanker na si Evangelista (boys’ 8-year) para pagharian ang kani-kanilang dibisyon.
Hindi rin nagpahuli sina Trump Christian Luistro ng Hope Christian School-Legazpi (boys’ 10-year), Behrouz Mojdeh ng Susan Papa Swim Academy (boys’ 7-year) at Lee Grant Cabral ng Diliman Preparatory School (boys’ 12-year) na nakasungkit din ng MOS awards.
Bumandera naman sa girls’ division si Palarong Pambansa most bemedalled athlete Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh na nagtala ng bagong Philippine national junior record sa 100m butterfly (1:4.71) para pagreynahan ang 12-year division.
Itinanghal ding MOS sina Julia Basa ng Susan Papa Swim Academy (girls’ 11-year), Genelle Macaspac ng Quezon Killerwhales (girls’ 10-year) at Kurile Hechanova ng Bulaan Great Whiteshark (girls’ 6-under).
Ang iba pang MOS winners ay sina Joaquin Peña (boys’ 6-under), Kaden Sy (boys’ 9-year), Yohan Cabanda (boys’ 13-year), Raven Henry (boys’ 14-year), Jules Mirandilla (boys’ 15-over), Clara Maligat at Jermhaynne Andres (girls’ 7-year), Maja Samosa (girls’ 8-year), Sydney Henry (girls’ 9-year), Agela Babiera (girls’ 13-year), Rigel Hechanova (girls’ 14-year) at Bernice Magtibay (girls’ 15-over).
“It’s been a great competition and we’re happy to see a lot of new talented swimmers. We’ll be back here in March to monitor their progress. Our focus right now is to identify and develop young swimmers for future international competitions,” ani PSL President Susan Papa.
