CVIRAA musugod na sa ilang misyon sa Palarong Pambansa
CEBU, Philippines — Ang The Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association (CVIRAA) ganado ug nagpanikad na sa aksyon sa 61st Palarong Pambansa nga gibuksan kagahapon didto sa Quirino Stadium sa Vigan, Ilocos Sur.
Unang mibanat alang sa Bisdaks mao ang ilang football team sa elementary ug secondary. Ang Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu misakmit og 2-0 nga daog batok SOCSARGEN, samtang ang Don Bosco Technical College milatos sa MIMAROPA, 5-0.
“Everyone’s at home with each other now. Sa una, inig abot pa sa venue sa Palaro una pa magka-ilhanay ang mga athletes. We are all positive that we can do better than last year,” matud ni Francis Ramirez, usa sa mga CVIRAA delegation officials.
Gikahimuot hinuon ni Cebu City Councilor Joy Young ang positibo nga sugud sa koponan. “Maayo na kaayo ang chemistry sa mga bata,” matud pa niya.
Ang CVIRAA gusto nga mupalambo sa ilang ninth place finish sa miaging tuig ug gusto nila nga masulod sa top five human sa maong multi-sporting event.
“We have a very, very good chance of at least getting back to fourth (overall).Our athletes won all their tune-up games in the last few days of their unified training. Aside from that, we won our first game in football and that’s something,” dugang pa ni Young. (BANAT NEWS)
