Mala-Olympics na bakbakan sa World volley
Ang mga international volleyball idols na sasabak sa 2016 FIVB Women’s Club World Championship kasama sina local players Rachel Anne Daquis at Mika Reyes sa isang road show sa Robinson’s Place-Manila.

MANILA, Philippines – Asahan ang mala-Olympics na bakbakan sa oras na magsimula ang paluan bukas sa FIVB Women’s Club World Championship sa Mall of Asia Arena sa Pasay City.

Kumpleto na ang w­a­long koponang magtatagisan matapos dumating kaha­pon ang Bangkok Glass at Hisamitsu Springs Rio.

Pinangunahan nina Asian superstars Pleumjit Thinkaow, Thi Ngoc Hoa Nguyen, Wilavan Apinyapong, Pornpun Guedpard at American Ashley Frazier ang Bangkok Glass na siyang reigning Asian champions.

Inaasahang ibubuhos ng Thai team ang kanilang buong lakas upang i-alay ang kanilang bawat tagum­pay sa namayapang si Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Ang Hisamitsu Springs Rio naman ay mamanduhan nina Olympians Miyu Nagaoka at Yuki Ishii kasama sina Risa Shinnabe at Risa Ishibashi.

Mapapalaban ang Thais at Japanese kina Rio Olympics Most Valuable Player Zhu Ting, Lonneke Sloetjes, Kim Hill at Naz Aydemir Aykol ng VakifBank Istanbul; Tijana Boskovic, Thaisa Menezes at Titiana Kosheleva ng Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul; at Foluke Akinradewo, Olesia Rykhliuk at Mariana Costa ng Volero Zurich.

Lalarga rin sina South American powerhouse Re­xona-Sesc Rio stars Anne Bujis, Carol, Gabi at Juicely gayundin ang European champion Pomi Casalmaggiore nina Rio Olympics bronze medalist Carli Lloyd, Jovana Stevanovic at Valentina Tirrozi.

Kinakailangan ng PSL- Manila na itodo ang kanilang lakas upang tapatan ang mga world-class players na makakasagupa nila sa isang linggong torneo.

Binubuo ang PSL-Manila nina Rachel Anne Daquis, Mika Reyes, Kim Fajardo, Frances Molina, Jen Reyes at Jaja Santiago kasama sina Stephanie Niemer at Lindsay Stalzer ng Amerika, Lynda Morales ng Puerto Rico, Tichaya Boonlert ng Thailand, Yuri Fukuda ng Japan, Yevgeniya Nyukhalova ng Ukraine at Ekaterina Krivets ng Russia.
