UST reresbakan ang FEU sa Game Two

MANILA, Philippines – Ibubuhos ng University of Santo Tomas ang ka­nilang buong lakas sa Game Two upang ma­ka­hirit ng ‘do-or-die’ game laban sa Far Eastern Uni­versity sa 78th UAAP men’s basketball cham­pionship series.

Sa kabila ng tinamong 75-64 kabiguan sa Game One ay nakataas pa rin ang noo ng mga Growling Tigers at nanatiling taglay ang bangis sa kanilang mga mata.

Walang pagod na nararamdaman sina Cameroonian Karim Abdul, Kevin Ferrer at Ed Daquioag na handang ibigay ang lahat upang maging maganda ang pagtatapos ng kanilang collegiate career.

“It was a great game. I knew before the game that it would come up with the breaks of the game. I think overall, we played well,” ani Abdul na umiskor ng 19 puntos.

Tinukoy ni Ferrer ang rebounding department sa isa sa pumatay sa ka­nila kung saan tanging 32 boards lamang ang na­sakmal ng Growling Tigers kum­para sa 56 ng Ta­maraws.

“Nakita namin sa Game 1 na talo talaga kami sa re­bound kaya kailangan naming i-work out ito,” sabi ni Ferrer.

Masama naman ang loob ni Daquioag sa kanyang masamang laro sa Game 1 matapos magtala ng 4 points.
