Pinangunahan ang Most Outstanding Swimmer awardees: Trinidad 6 na ginto ang sinisid
MANILA, Philippines – Anim na gintong medalya ang napanalunan ni Ferdinand Ian Trinidad ng Laguna habang tatlo ang nilangoy ni Zyrilyn Anonuevo ng Albay para pangunahan ang mga swimmers na itinanghal bilang Most Outstanding Swimmer awardees sa 82nd Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series-El Presidente Swim Cup na ginanap sa Mariner’s Polytechnic Colleges Foundation Pool sa Legazpi City.
Kampeon si Trinidad sa 100m Individual Medley, 100m butterfly, 100m breast stroke, 100m backstroke, 100m freestyle at 200m freestyle para makalikom ng 54 puntos sa boys’ 13 years old.
Nagreyna naman si Anonuevo sa girls’ 11 years nang nagkampeon sa 100m free, 100m back at 100m fly para sa 44 puntos.
Ang MOS awards ay ibinulsa nina Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh (girls’ 9), Albert Sermonia (boys’ 10), Heather White (girls’ 8), Rachel Abareta (girls’ 14), Luis Manliclic (boys’ 14), Trisha Oliveros (girls’ 15-over), James Peter Hernandez (boys’ 15-over), Gregg Marasigan (boys’ 12), Hannah Sartorio (girls’ 13), Tristan Lademora (boys’ 11), Caryl Ante (girls’ 12), Michael Otamias II (boys’ 9), Isis Arnaldo (girls’ 10), Joshua Camacho (boys’ 8), Chelsea Pastolero (girls’ 6-under), Nicole Camacho (girls’ 7) at Ythnmthw Orellana (boys’ 7).
Ang Cavite Sailfish ni head coach Edwin Valdez ang hinirang na overall champion sa naipong 645 puntos na sinundan ng St. Anges Academy na may 567 puntos at inangkin ng Albay Falcons ang ikatlong puwesto na may 343 puntos.
Inupuan ng Ibalong Magayon Aquagliders ang ikaapat na puwesto (298) kasunod ang Washington International School (137), British School of Manila (76), Ville St. John Academy (67), Diliman Preparatory School (58), Capitol Swim Club (54) at Blue Waves Splasher (47).
Ang iba pang gold medalists sa huling araw ng kumpetisyon ay sina Emmanuel Adornado (boys’ 15-over 100m back at 100m breast), Gian Nicole Nunez (girls’ 13 100m free at 100m breast), Arran Arnaldo (boys’ 7 50m back at 100m fly), Gabriel Reyes (boys’ 12 100m free), Aubrey Ybañez (girls’ 15-over 100m free), Chloe Evangelista (girls’ 14 100m free), Meynard Bautista (boys’ 10 100m breast), Angel Chan (boys’ 10 100m back), Pia Alcazar (girls’ 6-under 50m back), Kyle Mayor (girls’ 11 100m breast), Allyza Palermo (girls’ 10 100m back) at Kristian Flandez (boys’ 9 100m fly).
