Oliveros sumisid ng 5 ginto sa PSL series Bicol Leg 2 record nilunod nina Mojdeh, Isis
MANILA, Philippines – Agad na ipinakita nina Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh at Isis Arnaldo ang kanilang lakas nang magtampisaw sa pool sa pagbura ng kani-kanilang mga marka sa pagbubukas 82nd Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series-El Presidente Swim Cup sa Mariner’s Polytechnic Colleges Foundation Pool sa Legazpi City kahapon.
Naorasan ang mag-aaral ng Immaculate Heart of Mary College-Parañaque na si Mojdeh ng isang minuto at 35.58 segundo nang angkinin ang gintong medalya sa girls’ 9 years 100m breaststroke.
Pinabilis ni Mojdeh ang sariling marka na 1:36.80 sa nakuhang panalo.
“I thank God and my coaches who are helping me coz I won’t be able to break it without their help. Hopefully, mas maging maganda pa ang langoy ko sa mga ibang events,” pahayag ni Mojdeh na beterano na ng ilang international competitions.
Hindi naman nagpahuli ang pambato ng St. Agnes Academy na si Arnaldo nang gibain ang 1:32.33 marka ni Female Swimmer of the Year Kyla Soguilon sa paglangoy ng tiyempong 1:30.92 sa girls’ 10 yeras 100, breastroke.
“PSL continues its grassroots development program in the Bicol region as we are preparing for bigger events. We told them to dream big to catch up because we are behind in the world standing,” pahayag ni PSL president Susan Papa.
Nagpakitang gilas din ang UP standout na si Trisha Anne Oliveros matapos humakot ng limang gintong medalya sa girls’ 15-over 100m back, 200m free, 100m breast, 100m fly at 100m IM.
Nakisalo rin sa tagumpay nang sumisid ng tig-apat na ginto sina Ferdinand Ian Trinidad (boys’ 13 100m free, 100m back, 100m breast at 100m fly), Luis Angelo Manliclic (boys’ 14 100m free, 100m back, 100m breast at 100m fly), Tristan James Laderoma (boys’ 11 100m free, 100m back, 100m breast at 100m fly), Caryl Ante (girls’ 12 100m free, 100m back, 100m breast at 100m fly), Nicole Camacho (girls’ 7 50m free, 50m back, 50m breast at 100m fly) at James Peter Hernandez (boys’ 15-over 100m freestyle, 200m free, 100m fly at 100m IM).
Hindi rin nagpahuli sina Gregg Marasigan (boys’ 12 100m back, 100m breast at 100m fly), Rachel Abareta (girls’ 14 100m back, 100m breast at 100m fly), Zyrilyn Anonuevo (girls’ 11 100m free, 100m back at 100m fly), Heather White girls’ 8 (100m back, 100m breast at 100m fly), Joshua Camacho (boys’ 8 100m back, 100m breast at 100m fly) at Chelsea Pastolero (girls’ 6-under 50m free, 50m breast at 50m fly) na may tig-3 ginto na hinablot sa nasabing torneo.
