200 tankers maglalaglagan para sa tiket sa 2017 World University Games

MANILA, Philippines - Umabot sa 200 tankers ang magsusukatan sa 82nd Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series-El Presidente Swim Cup ngayon sa Mariner’s Polytechnic College Foundation Pool sa Legaspi City.

Ang malaking bilang ng kasali ay nagbigay ng ngiti kay PSL president Susan Papa dahil magkakaroon ang mga ito ng pagkakataon na maipakita ang kanilang galing at posib­leng masama pa sa malalaking torneo na sasalihan ng PSL sa pangunguna ng 2017 Summer World University Games sa Taipei, Taiwan.

“I am happy to see many Bicolanos trying out for World Universiade, they are smart to realize that Univer­siade indeed is a dream come true for them. I see these young swimmers before, when they were only 12 years old and now that dream has come to a reality,” pahayag ni PSL President Susan Papa

May mga qualifying times ang inilagay ng PSL para makasama sa lalaruang torneo sa labas ng bansa.

Ang mga swimmers na aabot sa Class A qualifying mark ay lalaro sa World University Games ng walang anumang gagastusin.

Ang iba pang torneo na sasalihan ng PSL ay ang 2015 Royal Bangkok Swim Meet, 2016 Phuket Invitational Swimming Championship at 2016 Indian Ocean All Star Challenge sa Perth, Australia.

Ang kompetisyong ito ay gagawin isang araw bago iselebra ni Papa ang kanyang kaarawan.

Tiyak na magiging matagumpay ang torneo dahil na rin sa tulong nina Albay Falcons head Manuel Adornado, Mariners Polytechnic Foundation Commodore Dante Jimenez at Ibalong Magayon Aquagliders President Arlon Rances.

“These people continue to support us in bringing the competition here in Bicol because they believe in our vision of opening the gates to these young kids,” dagdag ni Papa.
