CSSC overall champion sa 80th PSL Series

MANILA, Philippines – Inangkin nina Sean Te­rence Zamora ng UST at Carmen Rose Matabuena ng UE ang President’s Trophy awards habang ang Cavite Sailfish Swim Club ng Cavite ang siyang overall champion sa idinaos na 80th Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series-Vice Mayor Isko Moreno Top 16 Long Course Swimming Meet sa Rizal Memorial Swimming Pool sa Vito Cruz, Manila kamakailan.

Ang 14-anyos na si Za­mora ay kumulekta ng 555 puntos habang si Matabuena ay nakakuha ng 548 puntos para ibulsa rin ang P1,500 gantimpala.

“I would like to congra­tulate Sean Terence Za­mora and Carmen Rose Matabuena for their impressive showing this edition. They did well because they are looking forward to make it to the 2017 World University Games delegation,” wika ni PSL president Susan Papa.

Kumulekta naman ang mga manlalangoy ng CSSC ni coach Edwin Valdez ng 526 puntos upang talunin ang lahok ng Diliman Preparatory School Swim Team ni coach Ava Dimalanta at Marikina Aquabears ni coach Joel Villa sa nakuhang 385 at 313 puntos, ayon sa pagkakasunod..

Ang iba pang koponan na tumapos sa top ten ay ang MCUR3 Aquaspeed Sailfish (306), Joey Andaya Seagulls Swim Team (283), Aklan Swimming Team (255), Wesleyan College of Manila (249), SJB Butterfly of Novaliches (159), Paul Swim Club (107) at Elite Swimming Team (95).

Lilipat ang aksyon sa Tagum City Sports Complex sa Davao del Norte para sa 2015 PSL Davao Swim Meet sa  Agosto15 at ang 3rd El Presidente Swim Cup sa Mariner’s Polytechnic College Foundation Pool sa Legazpi City sa Agosto 22.
