MANILA, Philippines - Nang mabaon ang Aces ng 23 puntos sa se­cond period ay umasa si head coach Alex Compton na makakabalik pa sila sa laro.

Ngunit hindi na ito nang­yari kagaya sa Game One at Game Three.

Hindi bumitaw ang San Miguel matapos humawak ng 23-point advantage sa halftime para talunin ang Alaska, 88-70, sa Game Four at itabla ang kanilang 2014-2015 PBA Philippine Cup Finals kagabi sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Bumangon ang Beermen mula sa masaklap na 70-78 kabiguan sa Game Three noong Linggo para makatabla sa 2-2 sa kanilang best-of-seven championship series ng Aces.

“We were criticized. We want to show that we can also play defense,” sabi ni head coach Leo Austria.

Mula sa 49-26 bentahe sa halftime ay pinalobo ng San Miguel ang kanilang kalamangan sa 29 puntos, 55-26, galing sa basket ni Doug Kramer sa 10:07 minuto sa third period.

Napababa ito ng Alaska sa 17 puntos, 56-73, sa 10:23 minuto sa final canto.

Muling nagtuwang sina Arwind Santos, Alex Cabag­not at Chris Lutz para ilayo ang Beermen sa 82-60 sa huling 4:41 minuto ng laro na hindi na nakayanan ng Aces na putulin.

Tumapos si Cabagnot na may 22 points, kasama ang 4-of-10 shooting sa three-point range, habang nagdagdag si Best Player of the Conference winner June Mar Fajardo ng 11 points at 11 rebounds.
