MISCELLANEOUS. My good friend Dr. Domingo "Boy" Te, a dentist by profession, has been elected the new president of the Cebu Doctors University Alumni Association. He had been CDU's Distinguished  Alumni prior to his election and he will serve for two years as alumni president.

I visited Dr. Te in his cozy office at the Cebu Movers System along M.J. Cuenco avenue and chatted for few minutes where he revealed to me that his main project is to form an alumni team and will initiate an Inter-Alumni tournament going up against the likes of the SHAABAA, the CECABA, ug USC Alumni Basketball League.

He said he wants to organize an alumni tournament for players above 50 years old and anybody who wish to join his group must wait until they reach 50 years old to be qualified to play in a tournament.

Te, a basketball addict, was pioneer of forming the Guadalupe Athletic Association or GAA. A resident of Guadalupe, he is known in the Jaycees Basketball Association (JBA) as "Jawo" referring to the physicality of the Robert Jaworski in a game and like Jaworski, he had been playing-coach in almost every team he is handling.
