Arcilla, Capadocia matitindi ang makakapaluan sa PCA Open

MANILA, Philippines - Itataya nina Johnny Arcilla  at Marian Jade Capadocia ang kanilang mga titulo sa men’s at women’s division ng 33rd Philippine Columbian Association Open tennis tournament, inihahandog ng Cebuana Lhuillier at Metro Global Holdings, na hahataw sa Sabado sa Plaza Dilao courts sa Paco, Manila.

Puntirya ng 33-anyos na si Arcilla ang kanyang record na pang-siyam na korona sa PCA, habang hangad ni Capadocia ang kanyang ikalawang titulo.

Ang mga maghahamon kay Arcilla, maglalaro bilang No. 2 ranked player sa torneo, para sa suot niyang korona ay sina No. 1 seed Patrick John Tierro, No. 3 Marc Anthony Reyes, No. 4  Alberto Anasta, No. 5 Rolando Ruel, Jr., No. 6 Alberto Lim, Jr., No. 7 Mark Anthony Alcoseba, No. 8 Roel Capangpangan, No. 9 Ronard Joven at No. 10 Arcie Mano.

Makakasabayan naman ng top seed na si Capadocia sina No. 2  Anna Clarice Patrimonio, No. 3 Edilyn Balanga, No. 4 Maika Tanpaco, No. 5 Hannah Grace Espinosa, No. 6 Marinel Rudas, No. 7 Christine Patrimonio at No. 8  Szash Canja.

Maglalatag ang Cebuana Lhuillier ng kabuuang prem­­yong P600,000 kung saan ang mananalo sa men’s at women’s division ay tatanggap ng P100,000 at P50,000, ayon sa pagkakasunod.

“Cebuana Lhuillier has been a long-time partner of the PCA in its annual tournament for seven years no because we believe in its goal of providing a proper venue for competition for junior Filipino netters,” sabi ni Cebuana Lhuillier president at CEO Jean Henri Lhuillier. (RCadayona)
