Roach: Bradley dapat patumbahin ni Pacquiao
MANILA, Philippines – Hindi sapat ang panalo lamang kay six-time Boxing Writers Association of America Trainer of the Year Freddie Roach upang bumalik sa tuktok ng mundo ng boksing ang alagang si Manny Pacquiao.
Nais ni Roach na ma-knockout ni Pacquiao si Timothy Bradley sa muling pagkikita ng dalawa sa Abril 12.
"We need a knockout real soon. I'll be pushing for it,†wika ni Roach sa ulat ni Keith Idec ng boxingscene.com.
“He [Pacquiao] wants to be back on top again. The way back [to the] top again is to start knocking people out and be impressive,†he ended.
Huling nakapanalo via knockout si Pacquiao ay laban sa Puerto Rican na si Miguel Cotto, apat na taon na ang nakararaan.
Alam ni Roach na mula nang mag-iba ng relihiyon si Pacquiao ay hindi na inasam ng eight-division champion ang makapagpatumba.
"I know Manny's very big into the Bible. I'm not going to win an argument with the Bible. But the thing is, there's a lot of violence in the Bible and there's a lot of killer instinct in the Bible. To do my job correctly,
I've got to point these things out to Manny, that there is killer instinct in the Bible, also. That's what most wars are fought bout, religion," paliwanag ni Roach.
"When Manny hurt Bradley the first time, he didn't bother to finish him and thought it was enough to win a decision. I disagree with that,†dagdag niya.
Dahil dito sinabi ni Roach na ibabalik nila ang Pacquiao na may angas, ang “the young, aggressive Manny Pacquiao.â€
"I told Manny, ‘You tell me you want give people what they want. They want knockouts,’†banggit pa ni Roach.
Nais patunayan ni Pacquiao na siya ang dapat nanalo sa kontrobersyal nilang pagkikita ni Bradley na nagwagi via majority decision.
