Baguio sinilat ang Quezon City sa BP Luzon leg

IBA, Zambales , Philippines  --Mula sa kanilang mga panalo sa arnis at muay, nakamit ng Baguio City ang overall title ng 2013 Batang Pinoy Luzon qualifying leg.

Dalawang gold medals ang agwat sa nangungunang Quezon City bago ang huling araw ng event, kumuha ang Baguio ng walong ginto sa arnis at dalawa sa muay para makamit ang korona.

Ang 14-anyos na si Norielyn Sagun ang bumandera sa Baguio sa Arnis sa pagwawagi sa girls anyo synchronized double identical weapon bukod pa sa anyo single weapon, double identical weapon at sword and dagger events.

Tinalo naman ni Rey Abogadi ang kakamping si Sheen Pakilan sa boys’ anyo sword and dagger event bago naki­pagtulungan kina Pakilan at Eza Rai Yalong para dominahin ang anyo synchronized double identical weapon at sword and dagger title.

Nakamit din ng mga atleta ng Summer capital ang ginto sa girls anyo synchronized sword and dagger at sumandal kina muay fighters Ariel Lee Lampacan (boys 14-15 51kgs) at Clyde Drexler Soriano (14-15 57kg) para sa kabuuan nilang 47 gold, 49 silver at 37 bronze medals.

Pumangalawa naman ang Quezon City sa nakolektang 44 gold, 28 silver at 35 bronze medals.

Umasa ang QC kina muay specialists Jessa Rivera (girls 14-15 42kg), Joshue Rivera (boys 14-15 42kg), Lolit Lauron (girls 45kg) at Sean Keith Rollon (boys 45kg) bukod pa kina badminton winners Jason Vanzuela (boys 12-under singles) at Glenn Felix Camillo (boys 15-under singles).
