CESAFI wa motuman 'order' sa korte

CEBU, Philippines -  Gipaboran ni Regional Trial Court  (RTC) Branch 7 Judge Simeon P. Dumdum, Jr. ang gipangayo nga Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) nga gisang-at sa mga ginikanan ni Scott Aying, usa ka magduduwa sa University of San Carlos (USC) Baby Warriors nga  wala tugoting  makaduwa sa 13th Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (CESAFI) tungod sa "eligibility issue."

 Wala madayon ang krusyal unta nga duwa tali sa USC ug sa Cebu Eastern College  (CEC) Dragons ug ang mga abogado na sa matag habig ang naglantugi sulod sa Cebu Coliseum kagabii dihang wala tumana sa CESAFI ang TRO nga gi-isyu sa korte.

 Si Danny Aying ug iyang asawa nga si Avah Michelle mipasaka og formal complaint niadtong Martes batok sa CESAFI didto sa Regional Trial Court (RTC)-Branch 7 kay dili tugotan ang ilang anak sa pagduwa sa juniors division karon nga season  tungod kay nakalapas kini sa "rules on residency."

 Ang respondents sa kaso mao sila si CESAFI president Manny Uy, SJ sa  Sacred Heart  School-Ateneo de Cebu, commissioner Felix 'Boy' O. Tiukinhoy Jr. ug screening committee members Jess Himotas ug Danny Duran.

 Ang maong civil case no. CEB-40128 alang sa injunction.    Sa wala pa ang gikatakdang alas-5 nga duwa tali sa CEC ug USC, ang  inahan ni Scott nga si Avah Michelle uban sa ilang legal counsel nga si Donato  Gonzales ug court server Fritz Mejia mibutho sa playing venue aron pag-serve sa TRO  nga nakahaling sa kainit  sa mga abogado sa duha ka kampo.

  Ang maong TRO mo-epekto og 20 ka adlaw.

 "This is not a victory because the damage has been done. But we are eternally grateful to the "Father" in this honorable court in granting the TRO for suturing the wound that has blighted petitioner minor Aying's well-being," matud pa ni Gonzales, ang counsel sa petitioners. "The CESAFI could have been more circumspect and mindful of its actions, for children are the most vulnerable citizens in our society."

 Bisan pa niana, si Tiukinhoy ug CESAFI legal counsel Marvin Pañares miingon nga ang liga dili dayon modawat sa mando sa korte ilabi na nga ilang nakita nga aduna sila'y nakitang sayop ilabi na sa date nga na-isyu kini Septiyembre 16 imbes Septiyembre 18 ug ingon man ang contradictory statements sa desisyon sa hurado.
