MANILA, Philippines - Ngayon pa lamang ay pinag-aaralan na ni world flyweight champion Brian ‘The Hawaiian Punch’ Viloria ang mga kilos ni Mexican titlist Hernan ‘Tyson’ Marquez.
Ito ang sinabi ng 31-anyos na Fil-American fighter sa panayam ng The Boxing Voice kaugnay sa kanilang unification fight ni Marquez sa Nobyembre 17 sa Sports Arena sa Los Angeles, California.
“When I look at tapes I just look at tendencies and see what he does and what he likes to do and where he likes to unload his shots and just to work with that,” wika ni Viloria. “Most of the preparation comes down to me and getting myself in shape.”
Itataya ni Viloria ang kanyang suot na WBO flyweight crown, samantalang isusugal naman ni Marquez ang kanyang hawak na WBA Super World flyweight belt.
Bitbit ng 31-anyos na si Viloria ang kanyang 31-3-0 win-loss-draw ring record kasama ang 18 knockouts kumpara sa 34-2-0 (25 KOs) slate ng 23-anyos na si Marquez.
Nangako si Viloria na magiging maaksyon ang kanilang laban ni Marquez.
“I know stylistically we’re going to put up a great fight and that’s all I can do,” ani Viloria. “Hopefully it will be a great match and he’ll put up his best and I’ll put up my best and just let the fireworks happen.”
Binigo ni Viloria si Mexican Omar Niño Romero via ninth-round technical knockout (TKO) sa pagdedepensa ng kanyang hawak na WBO flyweight crown noong Mayo 13 sa Yñares Sports Arena sa Pasig City.
