Smart National Inter-school kasado na
MANILA, Philippines - Halos 1,500 aleta mula sa 500 eskuwelahan sa buong bansa ang makikita sa aksyon sa 2012 Smart National Inter-School (kyorugi at poomsae) taekwondo championships sa Setyembre 22-23 sa Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
“This competition gives our young (novice and advance) jins the chance to demonstrate the techniques and styles they have learned so far in various categories,” wika ni organizing committee chairman at Philippine Taekwondo Association vice president Sung Chon Hong.
Ang mga lalake at babaing partisipante sa kyorugi (sparring) ay matutunghayan sa senior, junior at grade school divisions.
Sa poomsae, tanging ang mga blackbelt students lamang ang maaaring lumahok sa individual, mixed pair at team events.
Kabilang sa mga kasali ay ang De La Salle University (Taft, Zobel, Lipa and Dasmariñas), College of St. Benilde, UP, UST, Ateneo de Manila University, FEU, UE, San Beda (Alabang, Mendiola and Taytay), Letran, Don Bosco (Makati and Mandaluyong), St. Theresa’s College, Lourdes School (Mandaluyong at Quezon City), OBMC, University of Batangas, Diliman Preparatory School, St. Anthony, St. Vincent, UPIS at Rizal High.
Magsisimula ang event sa ganap na alas-9 ng umaga. Ang nasabing torneo ay itinataguyod ng Philippine Sports Commission, Smart Communications, PLDT at Milo.
