Griffin wala na sa U.S. Olympic team

LAS VEGAS --- Nagkaroon si Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin ng isang left knee injury sa isang US Olympic practice scrimmage at ibinalik sa Los Angeles, ayon sa USA Basketball .

Si Griffin ang pinaka­ba­gong miyembro ng U.S. Olympic team na nagkaro­on ng injury matapos sina Orlando center Dwight Ho­ward, Miami stars Chris Bosh at Dwyane Wade at 2011 NBA Most Valuable Pla­yer Derrick Rose ng Chi­cago Bulls.

Pinabalik naman si Anthony Davis, ang college star na hinirang ng New Orleans bilang No. 1 overall pick sa NBA Draft, sa US Olympic training camp matapos ikunsidera bilang US team alternate.

Nasaktan ang kaliwang tuhod ni Griffin noong Miyerkules sa practice session sa Las Vegas.
