Aces, Llamados puntirya ang ika-2 panalo

MANILA, Philippines - Matapos matalo sa ka­nilang unang laro, target na­man ng Llamados at Aces ang kanilang ikalawang sunod na panalo.

Haharapin ng B-Meg ang Barako Bull ngayong alas-7:30 ng gabi, samantalang lalabanan naman ng Alaska ang Powerade sa alas-5:15 ng hapon sa elimination round ng 2012 PBA Governors Cup sa Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Umiskor ang Llamados ng isang 96-88 panalo laban sa Ginebra Gin Kings noong Mayo 27 tampok ang 21 points ni PJ Simon kasunod ang 18 ni Yancy De Ocampo at 13 ni import Marqus Blakely na may masamang 3-of-15 shoo­ting sa freethrow line.

“Marqus is just amazing with his all-around game. He’s showing here what he did for his school,” sabi ni coach Tim Cone kay Blakely, humakot din ng 17 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals at 1 shotblock, na nanguna sa Vermount Cantamounts sa scoring, rebounding, assists, steals at blocks noong 2010 NCAA season.

Nanggaling din sa panalo ang Aces matapos igupo ang Energy, 104-84, noong Mayo 27 bago nila sagupain ang Tigers.

Kasalukuyang hawak ng Rain or Shine ang lide­rato mula sa kanilang 3-0 record kasunod ang nagdedepensang Petron Blaze (2-1), Barangay Ginebra (1-1), B-Meg (1-1), Alaska (1-1), Barako Bull (1-1), Meralco (1-1), Air21 (1-2), Talk ‘N Text (1-2) at Po­werade (0-2).
