Back-to-back sa Maynilad

MANILA, Philippines - Dinomina ng Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) ang katatapos na 3rd MVP Olympics para sa ikalawang sunod na pagkakataon makaraang daigin ang 17 pang MVP companies, kasama na dito ang mga powerhouse teams na Meralco at PLDT na pumangalawa at pumangatlo, ayon sa pagkakasunod.

 Humigit-kumulang sa 2,000 employee-athletes na lumahok sa nasabing annual sports event.

Nakahugot ng kabu­uang 19 gold, 8 silver, at 14 bronze medals, hinirang ang Maynilad bilang “Overall Champion” sa three-day sports festival na nagtampok sa iba’t ibang athletic events at fun games.

“Our employees worked hard to defend our crown, and I’m very happy that our collective efforts paid off. This back-to-back championship victory is an indication of how the culture of excellence has become ingrained in the Maynilad organization,” sabi ni Maynilad President at CEO Ricky Vargas, nakakuha ng bronze medal sa isa sa mga MVP Olympics events.

Pinahalagahan ni MVP Sports Foundation EVP at MVP Olympics organizing committee member Patrick Gregorio ang kahalagahan ng annual sports competition bilang isang unifying event sa hanay ng mga MVP companies.

“This activity promotes a healthy lifestyle among employees, and also provides an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie. But more importantly, it’s a ce­lebration of our unity and strength as members of the MVP group of companies,” ani Gregorio.

Ang iba pang kumpan­yang sumali sa sports fest ay ang Smart, ePLDT, Metro Pacific Investments Corp., TV5/Mediaquest, Philex Mining Corp., Makati Medical Center, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Davao Doctors Hospital, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Dr. Pablo O. Torre Memorial Hospital, Metro Pacific Tollways Corp., Outback Steakhouse, Digitel, Asian Hospital and Medical Center, at SPI Global.
