Bradley may estratehiya na laban kay Pacquiao

MANILA, Philippines - Ngayon pa lamang ay may nakahanda nang estratehiya ang kampo ni Ti­mothy Bradley, Jr. laban kay Manny Pacquiao kaugnay sa kanilang suntukan sa Hunyo 9 sa MGM Grand sa Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ito ang ibinunyag ni Joel Diaz, ang chief trainer ng world light welterweight titlist na si Bradley.

“The strategy is just to be very smart,” sabi ni Diaz. “Stay smart and focused and don’t get lazy in that ring, because with Manny Pacquiao you got to be alert, alert a hundred percent, every second in that ring.”

Itataya ni Pacquiao (53-3-2, 38 KOs) ang kanyang hawak na World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title, inagaw niya kay Miguel Cotto via 12th-round TKO noong Nobyembre ng 2009, kontra kay Bradley (28-0-0, 12 KOs).

Ang 28-anyos na si Bradley ang kasalukuyang WBO light welterweight king.

Kumpiyansa si Diaz na kayang talunin ni Bradley ang 33-anyos na Filipino world eight-division champion na itataya rin ang kanyang sinasakyang 16-fight winning streak.

“Like I said, he is young, he is strong. He can take a punch. We are going to try to make Manny think a lot, because like I said Manny is unpredictable,” dagdag pa ni Diaz.

Kung magsasanay ang 33-anyos na si Pacquiao sa Baguio City, mag-eensayo naman si Bradley sa Indio’s Boys and Girls Club sa Indio.

Si Bradley ang pinili ni Pacquiao na labanan matapos itakda ang laban nina Floyd Mayweather, Jr. at Cotto sa Mayo 5 sa MGM Grand.

“Forget the biggest na­me,” sabi ni Bob arum ng Top Rank Promotions. “Bradley is the most dangerous because he can match Manny for speed and for punch output. So Manny is going to have his hands full with Bradley.”
