Handa na ang 2nd Stags Run 2012 sa Enero 15
MANILA, Philippines - Umaasa ang mga organizers ng 2nd Stags Run 2012 na tinawag na ‘Takbo para sa Edu-Misyon’ na nakatakda sa Enero 15 sa ASEANA City malapit sa Mall of Asia na makakalikom sila ng sapat na pera para sa apostolate mission, hindi lamang sa West Africa ngunit pati na rin sa malalayong barangay sa Palawan.
"Our hope is get more money here to fund our educational mission not just here in the Philippines but also in Africa," ani San Sebastian College-Recoletos president Fr. Anthony Morillo, OAR.
Hangad ng San Sebastian na mapondohan ang kanilang mga charitable at education missions sa Sierra Leone sa West Africa at sa Casian Island sa Palawan.
“We hope to attract and draw as many participants as last year but if we could get more to join our event, the better for everybody,” sabi ni Fr. Christopher Maspara, OAR.
Humigit-kumulang sa 5,300 runners ang tumakbo noong 2011. Sa mga interesado, maaring magpalista sa Chris Sports stores sa SM Mall of Asia sa Pasay City, Glorietta, SM Manila at ROX sa Taguig City.
