Head coaches nabitin sa cash incentives galing sa Philippine Sports Commission

MANILA, Philippines - Ilang linggo pa ang dapat hintayiin ng mga coaches ng mga Filipino athletes na nag-uwi ng gold, siilver at bronze medals sa nakaraang 26th Southeast Asian Games sa Palembang at Jakarta, Indonesia noong Nobyembre para sa kanilang cash incentives.

Sinabi ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) na kasalukuyan pang inaayos ang listahan ng mga coaches na karapat-dapat tumanggap ng insentibo.

Para makatanggap ng cash incentives, kailangan ng isang coach na makakuha ng sertipikasyon mula sa kanilang mga atletang kumolekta ng gold, silver at bronze medals sa 2011 SEA Games.

"There's still a problem when it comes to that, most of the coaches have yet to get certification from their athletes to be eligible to get their incentives and they are many," sabi ni PSC executive director Atty. Guillermo Iroy.

Ang mga winning coaches ay nakatakdang tumanggap ng kabuuang P4,030,000 cash incentives.

Sa 350 atletang nag-uwi 252 medalya mula sa biennial event, umabot sa P8,060,000 ang naipamigay ng PSC.

Kabuuang P2,050,000 ang mapupunta sa mga coa­ches ng gold medalists, P1,575,000 para sa silver medal winners at P405,00 sa bronze medalists.
