ICFP nagbigay ng tulong sa mga sinalanta ni Sendong
MANILA, Philippines - Nagbigay ang Integrated Cycling Federation of the Philippines (ICFP), pinamumunuan ni Dr. Philip Ella Juico, ng P25,000 check sa relief efforts para sa mga biktima ng bagyong ‘Sendong’.
Sinabi ni Dr. Juico na ang lahat ng officials, coaches, cyclists at utility personnel ay nag-ambag-ambag para sa naturang pondo.
“It may be not much, but if everyone of us in sports, will share and do our part, I am confident we will be able to make an impact in the lives of the flood victims. We are all in this together, wala nang mga grupo-grupo dito--Filipinos for our fellow Filipinos,” sabi ni Dr. Juico.
“This is also meant to inspire others, who think that such a modest amount won’t make any difference. This is exactly the message that we are imparting--help is needed by our fellowmen big or small,” ani Juico.
Sinalanta ng nasabing bagyo ang Cagayan de Oro at Iligan sa Mindanao at nag-iwan ng 1,010 na patay at libu-libong nawalan ng tahanan.
