PSC kinasuhan na si Angping sa Ombudsman
MANILA, Philippines - Nagsampa ang Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) ng kaso sa Office of the Ombudsman laban kay dating chairman Harry Angping kaugnay sa paglabag sa Republic Act 30-19 (Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices) matapos magdagdag ng 80 janitors sa kanyang termino noong 2009.
“Mr. Angping entered into a contract hiring an additional eighty janitorial personnel to manage and maintain PSC’s eight facilities,” ani PSC chief Richie Garcia kahapon. “He also entered into the said Addendum to the Contract of Service without authorization from the PSC therein. There was also no public bidding conducted for the same.”
“This is pure harassment or is this a cover up to the Southeast Asian Games debacle,” sagot ni Angping. “I’m not that careless to get into such contract without going through the legal process of the proper procedure.”
