Pacquiao makakatikim ng knockout, ayon sa tiyo ni Floyd
MANILA, Philippines - Tiniyak kahapon ni Roger Mayweather, ang uncle/trainer ni Floyd Mayweather, Jr., na makakatikim ng knockout si Manny Pacquiao kapag natuloy ang naturang mega-fight sa Mayo 5, 2012.
“People got to realize this: Whether they do it or not, Pacquiao already been knocked out twice. So there ain’t nothing new about him getting knocked out again,” ani Roger sa isang panayam sa Mayweather Gym sa Las Vegas, Nevada.
Nauna nang inihayag ni Bob Arum ng Top Rank Promotions na may mga investors na siyang nakausap mula sa New York at Los Angeles para sa Pacquiao-Mayweather super bout.
Hinamon na rin ng 34-anyos na si Mayweather ang 32-anyos na si Pacquiao na labanan siya at pirmahan ang kanilang fight contract.
“The thing about the fight is that, everybody in the world awaits; everybody around the world wants to see it,” sabi ni Roger sa Pacquiao-Mayweather fight.
Dalawang beses hindi natuloy ang negosasyon dahil sa mga reklamo ni Mayweather mula sa pagsailalim nila ni Pacquiao sa isang Olympic-style random blood at urine testing hanggang sa hatian sa prize purse.
Ang lahat ng nakalaban ni Mayweather ay dumaan sa random urine at blood test, kabilang na sina Ricky Hatton, Sugar Shane Mosley at Juan Manuel Marquez.
Sa kabila nito, kumpiyansa si Roger na matutunghayan ang Paqcuiao-Mayweather super fight sa 2012.
“I think it’s probably going to happen in May... that’s what I think. That’s my timeframe. That’s what I see,” sabi pa ni Roger.
