MANILA, Philippines - Pipilitin ng mga local talents na gitlain ang mga paborito sa third leg ng MVP Sports Foundation-Bingo Bonanza Philippine Badminton Ranking System (PBaRS) tournament na hahataw bukas sa Wheels and More badminton courts sa Davao City.
Sina veteran Rollie Otamias at Ronald Daymiel ang mamumuno sa mga pambato ng Mindanao region sa men’s Open singles na babanderahan nina back-to-back champion Antonino Gadi, second seed Paul Vivas, No. 3 Patrick Natividad, fourth ranked Peter Magnaye at No. 5 Jaime Junio.
Sasabak rin sa naturang nationwide circuit na inorganisa nina Vice President and Philippine Badminton Association president Jejomar Binay, Rep. Albee Benitez at businessman-sportsman Manny V. Pangilinan sina Cagayan de Oro bet Francis Gomez at Axle Banson ng Team Wheels & More.
Sina Paolo Torreda at Christian Uy ang babandera sa ETC Space Shuttle ng Kidapawan sa boys’ Under-19 class kasama sina Butuan Badminton Club’s Joshua Ibo at Vince Lagnada at si Wheels & More’s Eddie Gacayan Jr.
Hahataw rin sina Rozette Tabunan ng Wheels & More, si South Cotabato’s Marie Tenchavez at si Butuan BC’s Beverly Ann Lagnada sa girls’ U-19 side.
