Smart all-women taekwondo tilt sa Linggo na
MANILA, Philippines - Ang mga women’s taekwondo fighters naman ang aagaw ng eksena sa Linggo, Mayo 29 sa pagdaraos ng 2011 SMART national women’s championship sa Rizal Memorial coliseum.
“Our country’s leading and upcoming female athletes will display different techniques and styles as they compete in the one-day event,” wika ni organizing committee chair Sung Chon Hong.
Kabilang sa mga miyembro ng national pool na inaasahang sasabak sa aksyon ay sina Jyra Marie Lizardo, Camille Manalo, Jade Zafra, Pauline Lopez, Karla Alava, Cecilia Viray at Claudette Rosales.
Ang iba pang kalahok sa tournament na ito na suportado ng SMART Communications, PLDT, Philippine Sports Commission at Milo ay magmumula sa lahat ng affiliated PTA chapters at branches sa buong Metro Manila at probinsiya kabilang ang nasa iba’t ibang military commands.
Tatlong kategorya ang paglalaban--senior women, junior women at grade school girls sa advance at novice divisions.
