"Chess for a Cause" sa 74th anniversary ng AFPI

MANILA, Philippines - Sa ika-74th year ng Artillery Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. (AFPI) , isang association ng active at retired Artillery men ng Armed Forces of the Philippines sa gabay ni chairman LT. Gen. Arthur Tabaquero, hepe ng Eas­tern Mindanao Command, B.Gen. Pompeo Limbo, AFPI President at Inspector General ng Philippine Army at Executive Director at Army regiment commander Col. Pedro Biasbas ay magdadaos ng kauna-unahang major tournament na binansagang "Chess For a Cause" para sa bene­fit ng scholarship program ng mga members at dependents at sa pagtulong sa makahulugang civic at humanitarian projects.

Ito ay gaganapin sa Hulyo 2-3 sa Philippine Army Gymnasium.

Ang torneong ito ay nasa pakikipagtulungan ni Philippine Academy for Chess Excellence President GM Jayson Gonzales at may basbas ng national chess federation.
