Nationals nawala ang gilas sa Llamados

MANILA, Philippines - Naglaro nang wala ang mga injured na sina two-time PBA Most Valuable Player James Yap, Rico Maierhofer, Jonas Villa­nueva, Don Allado at Jonas Villanueva, nagawa pa rin ng Llamados na ipalasap sa Nationals ang unang kabiguan nito.

Nagtuwang sina PJ Simon, KG Canaleta at import Shamari Spears sa extra period para igiya ang Derby Ace sa malaking 98-90 panalo kontra Smart-Gilas sa overtime at buhayin ang kanilang tsansa sa isa sa anim na playoff seats sa 2011 PBA Commissioner’s Cup kagabi sa Big Dome.

Ayon kay Gallent, na­ging malaking bentahe para sa Llamados ang hindi na pagbabalik ng 30-anyos na si Douthit, tumapos na may 14 points, 8 rebounds at 2 shotblocks.
