“I want to be undisputed in the 118-pound weight class,” ani Donaire. “If that doesn’t happen, I want to go up to 122 or maybe 126, and to just keep going and that’s all that I want to do,” sabi ni Donaire.
Kabilang sa maaaring puntiryahin ni Donaire ay ang unification fight kina Mexican-born IBO at WBC silver belt king Abner Mares (21-0-1, 13 KOs) at African two-time IBF champion Joseph Agbeko (28-2, 22 KOs).
Nakatakdang magsagupa ang 25-anyos na si Mares at ang 30-anyos na si Agbeko sa Abril 23 sa Nokia Theater sa Los Angeles, California.
Maaari ring targetin ni Donaire si WBA bantamweight titlist Anselmo Moreno (30-1-1, 10 KOs) ng Panama na magdedepensa ng kanyang korona laban kay Lorenzo Parra (31-2-1, 18 KOs) ng Venezuela sa Pebrero 26.
