Mayweather wala ng pag-asa, Pacquiao-Margarito kasado na

MANILA, Philippines - Hindi na maaaring iurong ni Bob Arum ng Top Rank Promotions ang laban ni Manny Pacquiao kay Antonio Margarito sakali mang biglang magbago ang isip ni Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

Sa panayam ng FanHouse.com kahapon, sina­bi ng 78-anyos na si Arum na posibleng maitakda ang Pacquiao-Mayweather megafight sa Mayo ng 2011 kung tuluyan nang makukuha ni Don King ang American six-time world boxing champion sa kanyang promotional outfit.

“It’s too late for the fall. So Pacquiao-Mayweather would be something in the spring. Floyd has not signed officially with King, but when he does, I’m sure that Don will talk to me and we’ll work it out,” ani Arum. “My recommendation is that we do the fight in May, in which case, if Pacquiao is successful in November, that will give us six months to promote the fight.”

Nakatakdang kausapin ni Arum si Cowboys Stadium owner Jerry Jones para sa pagbabalik ni Pacquiao sa naturang football arena matapos talunin si Joshua Clottey ng Ghana via unanimous decision noong Marso 14.
