“We will push for sports for all in QC to develop a healthy and alert citizenry,” sabi ni Ms. Belmonte.

Nakasaad sa Section 19, Article XIV ng 1987 Constitution na “the State shall provide physical education and encourage sports programs, league competitions and amateur sports, including training for international competition, to foster self-discipline, teamwork, and excellence for the development of healthy and alert citizenry.”

“We in Quezon City and elsewhere, should develop our mental and physical attributes to become “citizen sportsmen”, ani Ms. Belmonte sa pahayag ng isang dating chairman ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC).
