MANILA, Philippines – Muling hinamon ni Floyd Mayweather, Jr. si Manny Pacquiao na sumailalim sa Olympic-style drug test upang mapatunayan na malinis ito.
Kasabay nito, kinontra rin ng 34-anyos na si Mayweather ang sinasabing paglalagay sa 31-anyos na si Pacquiao sa Boxing Hall of Fame.
“That’s not for me to put him in the Hall of Fame,” ani Mayweather sa Filipino world seven-division champion. “All I’m saying is, if you’re an athlete, take the test. That’s all I’ve got to say. If you’re a clean athlete, take the test. That’s all I’m saying. That’s all I’ve got to say.”
Matatandaang ipinilit ni Mayweather kay Pacquiao ang pagsasailalim nila sa nasabing Olympic-style drug test na inayawan ni”Pacman”.
Bunga nito, nabasura ang nasabing megafight.
“ If you’re a clean athlete, take the test. Show the world. You know what? I’m a natural. Take the test, that’s all I’ve got to say. USADA can meet you at any time. Take the test,” sabi ni Mayweather.
Nakatakdang sagupain ni Mayweather (40-0-0, 25 KOs) si Sugar Shane Mosley (46-5-0, 39 KOs) sa Mayo 1 (US time) sa MGM Grand sa Las Vegas, Nevada.
