"In athletics, we are number one in nine events in Southeast Asia. And if we are number one in those nine events, that means we are looking for nine gold medals in 2009 Southeast Asian Games in Laos," ani Go.

Ang mga ginto ay kinuha ng PATAFA sa men's 400m, men's 4x400m relay, men's 3,000m steeplechase, men's at women's long jump, men's javelin, men's hammer throw, women's 10,000m run at women's marathon.

Ang mga gintong medalya ay nanggaling sa men's 400m, men's, men's 3,000m steeplechase, men's at women's long jump, men's hammer throw.

(Russell Cadayona)
