Mga batang NCR athletes pinarangalan ng Milo Little Olympics

MANILA, Philippines - Dalawampu’t apat na mga batang atleta mula sa National Capital Region ang pinigyan ng parangal bilang Most Outstanding Athlete sa Milo Little Olympics NCR na ginanap sa Marikina City.

May 12 elementary at 12 high school student athletes ang pinili dahil sa pagpapakita nila ng kakaibang karakter at ugali na kumakatawan sa sportmanship, hard work, camaraderie, team work at disiplina.

Ang mga awardees sa elemetary division ay sina Trisha Ramirez (athletics), Frell Keeyann Gabuelo (badminton), Elijah Maliam (chess), John Chael Quilapio (football), Raya Nazario (gymnastics), Marcen Gonzales (lawn tennis), Richmond Geminiano (scrabble), Elmer de Gracia (sepak takraw), Christine Jhoy Mendoza (swimming), Christopher Jamilosa (table tennis), Louie Santiago (taekwondo, at Ruvince Abrot (volleyball).

Sa high school naman ay sina Michelle Palmares (athletics), Jeff Foronda (badminton), Mark Eric Lao (chess), Remigio Cabildo (football), Jay Franz Villegas (gymnastics), Dhep Talatayod (lawn tennis), Ronel Geminiano (scrabble), Jan Dominck Legaspi (sepak takraw), Myke Darren Wong (swimming), Rondel Blanco (table tennis), Regine Lumbo (taekwondo) at Djanel Welch Cheng (volleyball).

Ang mga batang atletang ito ay kakatawan sa NCR sa kauna-unahang National Milo Marathon na nakatakda sa Oktubre 23-25 sa Cebu City, kung saan makikipagtunggali sila sa iba pang regional champions mula sa Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao sa spirit ng camaraderies at sports excellence. Ang Milo Little Olympics at National Milo Olympics ay isang pagsisikap ng Milo na makatuklas ng mga bagong kampeobn sa buhay.
