Bata at may karanasang bowlers ang dadayo sa World Women's Tenpin tourney

MANILA, Philippines - Pinaghalong kabataan at karanasan, makikipaglaban ang National women’s bowling team kontra sa pinakamhuhusay sa buong mundo sa World Women’s Tenpin Bowling championships sa global gambling capital ng Las Vegas , Nevada mula July 27 hanggang Aug. 2.

Ang mga Pinay bowlers, na ang biyahe dito ay ginastusan ng Philippine Sports Commission ay umalis kahapon patungong Nevada sa pangunguna ni Philippine Bowling congress secretary-general Bong Coo.

Nakahabol sa koponan si Liza del Rosario, na galing pa sa pagkopo sa bronze medal sa singles sa World Games sa Taiwan, kasama nina Liza Clutario, Marianne Posadas, Kimberly Lao, Krizziah Tabora, Rachelle de Leon at coach Jojo Canare.

“With Del Rosario winning a bronze at the World Games, I hope this augurs well for our country’s participation in the world women’s tenpin bowling championships. I wish our Filipina bowlers all the best,” pahatid na salita ni PSC chairman Harry Angping.

Makikipaglaban ang mga Pinay sa mga mahuhusay na babaeg bowlers mula sa 45 bansa, na tumabon sa dating record na 43 bansa sa Menterrey, Mexico may dalawang taon na ang nakalilipas.

Pinakabata sa grupo si Ta-bora na 18 anyos at nakabronze sa katatapos na Asian Schools Championships sa Hong Kong at   women’s masters titlist sa 2008 RP Open.
