Hatian sa premyo na lang ang problema para tuluyang maiselyo ang Pacquiao-Hatton megafight

Kagaya ng kaso nila ni Oscar Dela Hoya, ang financial split rin ang bagay na pinaplantsa para sa world light welterweight championship fight nina Manny Pacquiao at Ricky Hatton.

Mula sa kanyang pagbabakasyon sa Mexico, sinabi ni Bob Arum ng Top Rank Promotions na nagiging maganda ang kanilang negosasyon ni Golden Boy Promotions’ Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Richard Schaefer ukol sa nasabing Pacquiao-Hatton megafight.   

 “I think everything is going very, very smoothly,” wika ni Arum. “We’re reviewing paperwork and all of that sort of stuff.”

 Ang 30-anyos na si Pacquiao ay nanggaling sa isang eight-round stoppage laban sa 35-anyos na si Dela Hoya sa kanilang non-title welterweight fight noong Disyembre 7 sa MGM Grand Garden Arena sa Las Vegas, Nevada.

Matagumpay namang naidepensa ng 30-anyos ring si Hatton ang kanyang suot na International Boxing Organization (IBO) light welterweight crown laban kay Paulie Malignaggi via 11th-round TKO.

 “Everything is going according to plan. That is the fight we are concentrating on. That is the fight we hope to reach aggreement on and I think that goes for both sides - Hatton’s side and Pacquiao’s side,” ani Arum.

Sa ”Dream Match” nina Pacquiao at Dela Hoya, isang 60-40 revenue split ang napagkasunduan ng dalawang kampo. 

“I think over the week, by phone, we have made tremendous progress,” wika ni Arum sa takbo ng kanilang usapan ng Golden Boy Promotions para matuloy ang Pacquiao-Hatton fight sa Mayo 2 ng 2009. (RCadayona)
