2nd M.O.V.E. Hereos Run for PWDs andam na

CEBU - Andam na ang tanan alang sa 2nd season sa “M.O.V.E. Heroes Run for PWDs” karong Nobiyembre 30 diha sa Parkmall sa north reclamation area, dakbayan sa Mandaue.

Ang maong kalihukan gipasiugdahan sa Philippine Academy of Rehabilitation Medicine (PARM)-Visayas Council.

“Same as last year, the proceeds that we will be accumulating in this activity will go to PARM’s Critical Illness Fund, which will be used to mainly help in the hospitalization expenses and outpatient services of our indigent PWDs,” matud pa ni PARM chairman ug event organizer Dr. Renald Peter Ramiro atol sa press conference kagahapon didto sa Parkmall.

“We are happy for this program because this serves as an eye opener for the people to know that we, PWDs (persons with disabilities), also have something to show off. We are hoping that this will be a yearly activity or even twice a year. This year, I will invite my fellow PWDs to come out of their shell and not to be ashamed of our condition,” matud pa ni paralympian Arnold Balais.

Ang M.O.V.E. Run niabot na sa layong dapit. Ning bag-o, nihimo sila og Maskara Festival leg niadtong Oktobre 19 didto sa Bacolod alang sa Western Visayas PWDs. Naplansa na sab ang pagpahigayon sa Tacloban leg unya sa bulan sa Hunyo sunod tuig.

Ang organizers naglaum nga sa Pebrero sunod tuig, adunay M.O.V.E 4K Run sa Manila aron palapdan ang ilang serbisyo ngadto sa indigent PWDS sa ubang mga dapit sama sa Northern Luzon, Central Luzon, National Capital Region, Southern Tagalog ug Bicol region.
