RP swimmers walang ipinapangakong medalya sa Olympics

- Mae Balbuena -

“I’ll just go out and compete and try to get the best time possible,” pahayag ng pangunahing swimmer ng bansa na si Molina, ang  Best Male sa South-east Asian Games sa Thailand noong nakaraang taon na sasabak sa 200M breaststroke at 200-M individual medley.

”You know, this is our Super Bowl. It’s an stressful event, that’s for sure,” ani Nesty. “Still, you have to cherish every moment, no matter what, because for all you know, it would be over soon. So just relax, have fun and enjoy the moment.”

“Olympic Games is going to be fast,” ani Brosas. “Qualifying in the Olympics is hard enough. So we just hope to do what we can. Breaking national records could be one of them, keeping their standings in the region and going for the top 16 are all possible.”

”You have to be realistic. The USA, Australia, Germany, Great Britain, all of them had a hard time winning their first medal. Perhaps, you can have your medal sooner than you think. I can’t fully say when, but hopefully soon,” wika ng Spanish swimmer na si Sergio ang swimming head coach sa The Bolles School sa Jacksonville, Florida kung saan niya sinanay sina  Coakley at Arabejo.
