BANGKOK, Thailand — Sa pagbabalik ng San Miguel-Pilipinas team, maraming karanasan at pagbabagong magaga-nap matapos ang mata-gumpay nilang kampanya sa 7th Southeast Asian Basketball Men’s Championship. 

Sa isang victory dinner para sa Nationals, tinala-kay ni national coach Chot Reyes ang tungkol sa tatlong players--sina Willie Miller ng Alaska, Kelly Williams ng  Sta. Lucia Realty ay Gave Norwood, isang Fil-Am na naglaro sa George Mason U.

May itinakda ring araw: May 31.  

Kung walang conflict sa schedules--magpupulong sina PBA chairman Ricky Vargas, Commissioner  Noli Eala, Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas executive director Patrick Gregorio, RP team manager Robert Non at Reyes--para pag-usapan ang evaluation sa final composition ng national team na tutungo sa Tokushima, Japan para sa FIBA-Asia Men’s Championship sa July 28-Aug. 5.

At may bagong training pool na bubuuin kung saan makakasama sina Miller at Williams, kung papayagan ng kanilang ball club at Nor-wood, kung makikita naman ito.

May dalawa ring bagong assistant coach at pinagpi-pilian sina Joel Banal, Jong Uichico, Binky Favis at Al-francis Chua. May doktor at nutritionist na makakasama.
